When you’ve had enough of tasteless frozen pizza and restaurants serving the same kind of pizza over and over again, it’s time to reward yourself with some homemade pizza.
And not every pizza night has to be BBQ chicken pizza, or pepperoni pizza, or pizza marinara, or any of the usual because you know what? There are enough pizza varieties to satisfy your distinct pizza taste besides the usual specialties.

Here are 10 different pizzas to try at home that won’t leave you the least bit in wanting something else. Ever again.
Chicago-style deep dish pizza
Is a pizza for stuffed crust pizza lovers, made with crusty and deep crust that is stuffed with cheese first, then any choice of meat (pepperoni and Italian sausage are very popular with this type of pizza), followed by plenty of fresh tomato sauce, although crushed canned tomatoes can also be used, and a little Parmesan cheese can be added as finishing layer, entirely optional however.
New York-style pizza
Is similar to Neapolitan pizza, but not quite the same. The crust is thin with a crisp bottom, chewy middle layer, and slightly gooey top. And it must have a good hole structure. Unlike Neapolitan pizza, however, New York-style pizza is one size only, and that size is big, 14 to 18 inches in diameter.
Pizza Bianca or White Pizza
Is, of course, white and owes its name to the tasty toppings that mainly include two cheeses, which are ricotta and mozzarella. Herbs can be added, such as fresh or dried oregano, chopped fresh thyme, or garlic. White pizza is among the types of pizza that leave out the tomato sauce, which is often replaced with a sprinkling of olive oil.
Pissaladière
Is a French pizza that originates from Nice and is great to eat hot or cold, although not exactly pizza per se, but more of a tart topped with a lot of caramelized onion, some black olives, about 150 grams anchovies and garlic. Onions can be cooked with tomatoes, and thyme, salt, and pepper.
Greek pizza
Is pizza with Greek-style toppings that include feta cheese, Kalamata olives, marinara sauce or whole tomatoes crushed by hand, sometimes marinated artichokes, roasted red pepper and a bunch of herbs, some mandatory, some optional. Particular about this style of pizza is the oily crust, which is a result of all the oil used to layer the pan.
Breakfast pizza
Is made with breakfast ingredients such as sausage, and bacon, and cheddar cheese, and scrambled eggs, and is good to eat for any meal: breakfast, lunch, brunch, dinner, etc. Optional ingredients include ham, shredded mozzarella, minced onions, and chopped chives.
Mexican pizza
Is pizza topped with Mexican inspired ingredients. Can be made with dough, but is usually made of two pizza shells or tortillas that are filled with ingredients including ground beef, black beans, scallions, enchilada sauce, chopped tomatoes, diced green chiles, black olives, and a mix of Mexican cheese.
Pizza Crunch or Scottish-style pizza

Is deep-fried battered pizza served with chips on the side. It looks similar to calzone at first since it’s made by folding the dough in half so that the toppings remain on the inside, but the taste experience is nothing calzone-like. Think gooey interior (thank you, cheese!) and potent flavor (thank you, pepperoni!).
